THANK YOU to everyone who participated in Zooming in on the GOBE and helped to make is such a successful conference! We had over 200 registrants from 29 countries join in the meeting and presentations by 45 speakers covering topics from paleobiology to geochemistry and all aspects of the Ordovician (and adjacent time intervals). We look forward to seeing you again soon online or in-person!

The 2020 annual meeting of the IGCP 653: the onset of the Great Ordovician Biodiversification Event is moving online! Though COVID-19 keeps up from gathering in person, we remain committed to meeting to discuss geology, paleontology, geochemistry and more related to the GOBE interval, and we are excited about providing a platform where participants can connect and share their science. We hope that the virtual conference will provide not only a place to discuss the science of the GOBE but will also reduce barriers to participation by eliminating all costs for travel and registration for participants.
Join members of IGCP 653: The Onset of the Great Ordovician Biodiversification Event to share your science, learn about current research and development in our understanding of the GOBE, and connect with colleagues from around the globe.
The online virtual meeting will use Zoom video conferencing, and it is free to register for the event. Registration is required in order to receive the links each day to the online meeting.
Participation is free. Register now at https://igcp653online.eventbrite.com
